Internship with Assemblywoman Matsikoudis
During my internship in Assemblywoman Matsikoudis’s office, I saw how policy takes shape through patience, research, and coordination.
I analyzed more than a hundred bills, tracked constituent opinions, and helped our team stay connected to the community.
Outside the Legislature
My first formal training in advocacy came through the New York Times Summer Institute.
I later explored political organizing through the League of Women Voters’ YVote Youth Power Activist Internship. From weekly workshops visiting Trenton to support bills on same-day voter registration, youth voting rights, and mental health, I began to see that civic change requires as much structure as it does conviction.
